I finally got food here after years of living nearby. Wow. They have so many options. The sandwich i got was perfection. It was HUGE also (yay lunch tomorrow) And the service was incredible. The person who took my order was very kind and helpful. I went back in because I wasn't sure if I had ordered chips with my meal and there was none in my bag. I went in to buy some, assuming it was my error. The person at the counter was incredibly sweet. She apologized, gave me the chips for free and offered me a free pastry. I still don't know if it was my error or not, they just wanted to make sure I was happy. Truly fabulous customer service. Everywhere should aspire to be the Hall Street Bakery. I will be back!

Wow! Hall Street Bakery’s new ownership is knocking it out of the park. The pastries are some of the best I’ve had in Grand Rapids—fresh, buttery, flavorful, and never dry. Every bite tastes like it was made with pride and attention to detail. It’s not easy to find a bakery that consistently delivers both quality and flavor, but this one does. I’m excited to see what the future holds for this neighborhood gem. Highly recommend stopping in—you won’t leave empty-handed!

Love this local spot for a lot of reasons. It's in the heart of a neighborhood. The staff is lovely, especially Gracie. The community of patrons are so friendly. It's an excellent third space. I like this spot so much that I bought their "travel" mug for $20. Don't do that. Not only do they not offer a loyalty discount for bringing in the tumbler, it leaks everywhere. Very cheap. Not worth the mess. Would love to see them invest in quality merchandise so I can rep this great spot while traveling.

Went there with a friend for a mid afternoon snack and coffee. They have a wide selection of both; their coffee is great, and their snacks are delicious. The service was excellent; very accommodating clerk who jumped right on our order. A relaxing and quiet atmosphere that made chatting easy. We love going here!

Stopped in for coffee ☕️ and breakfast. Got the croissant with ham, bacon, egg and cheese. Excellent sandwich.... very filling. Tried the raspberry truffle mocha for coffee ☕️ Very friendly and helpful staff. Always enjoy going here. Great menu choices. Brought home blueberry danishes when leaving. So many pastry choices you won't be disappointed
